<br />ABSTRACT. Limestone lenses from the upper part of the Skomer Volcanic Group at Marloes Sands, Pembrokeshire, have yielded a diverse collection of conodont elements. Key taxa present include Pranognathus tenuis, lcriodella deftecta, Ozarkodina hassi and Ozarkodina oldhamensis. Of particular note is the presence of elements of the poorlyknown genus Anticostiodus. The composition of the fauna is characteristic of a nearshore environment at a time of high conodont diversity. The upper three samples, at least, are referable to the Aeronian P. tenuis Sub-biowne, at the top of the Distomodus kentuckyensis Biozone.
