The goal of the Turtle Evolution Symposium is to present, promote, communicate and discuss the latest advances and original results on the evolutionary history of turtles, from their origin and early evolution until the present. This is an international meeting that brings together turtle researchers and students from around the world working on specific topics such as anatomy, evolution, nomenclature, taxonomy, phylogenetic relationships, the fossil record of extinct turtles, conservation and more. The symposium will feature a one-day field-trip to the Jura Mountains led by Jérémy Anquetin, and keynotes will be given by Juliana Sterli, Adán Pérez García and Tyler Lyson.
