Progressive Palaeontology: Southampton 21st–23rd May 2014

First Circular for the Progressive Palaeontology Conference 2014

Progressive Palaeontology is coming to Southampton in 2014! Join us the 21st-23rd of May at the National Oceanography Centre, home of a new palaeontology research group. We will kick off the meeting in the evening of the 21st with an Ice Breaker reception, followed by a full day of interesting posters and talks, ending with a fantastic field trip to the Isle of Wight on the 23rd. This is a great opportunity for early-career palaeontologists to showcase their research.

Conference registration and abstract submission will open shortly. The abstract deadline is not yet set, but will be around the end of April. We will also be partnering with Palaeocast to broadcast the talks for those unable to make it.
