The Paleontological Society is supporting a travel grant of $500 for a student member of PaleoSoc living within Europe, or $1000 for a student member of PaleoSoc living outside of Europe, to present a full talk at Progressive Palaeontology in Bristol, April 2015. The Society of Vertebrate Paleontology is supporting a travel grant of $400 for a student member of SVP living within Europe, or $600 for a student member of SVP living outside of Europe to present a full talk at Progressive Palaeontology in Bristol, April 2015. If you are interested in applying, please follow the instructions below.
Instructions for Applicants
Travel Grant applicants must submit an abstract for a full talk (12 minutes + 3 minutes questions) following the instructions on the abstract submission page.
Travel grant applicants must also submit a separate one-page cover letter. The cover letter must contain the applicants name, institution address, the name of the society grant they are applying for, an active membership number to the relevant society, their talk title and some justification as to why the applicant should receive the travel grant.
Applicants may apply to more than one society travel grant. In this case, please submit a separate cover letter for each society grant applied for. Applicants will only be awarded one travel grant.
The deadline for travel grant applications is March 1st 2015.
