The Yorkshire Fossil Festival (http://www.yorkshirefossilfestival.co.uk) returns to Scarborough’s Rotunda Museum with a roar on 16th–18th September 2016! See a baby T-rex roam the town centre, create sea monsters, go rock pooling, get crafty at workshops, watch dinosaur shows and learn about all things geology. Discover the secrets of the world beneath us with public talks from leading scientists to shows for young children. Follow in the footsteps of our prehistoric friends with a weekend of activities as science meets your imagination.
The Palaeontological Association will once again be showcasing the wonders of fossils at our very own stand within the Rotunda Museum main site. Meanwhile in the Art Galley, our Publicity Officer Liam Herringshaw, along with Jack Oyston and Katie Strang, will be discussing how to become a palaeontologist. Also, outdoor theatre performances by the PalAss-sponsonsored Iguanodon Resturant show (https://emeraldant.com/) will be taking place outside the Rotunda.
All events are free, except where stated (see http://www.yorkshirefossilfestival.co.uk for more details), children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
