Abstracts can be submitted for either standard or lightning talks, and posters. Delegates may deliver a maximum of two presentations, at least one of which must be a poster, i.e. delegates may present two posters or one talk plus one poster. Delegates will be notified via e-mail regarding acceptance of their abstracts.
Talks
All talks should be prepared as Microsoft Powerpoint or PDF. We cannot guarantee facilitation of talks in other formats. Standard talks are each allocated a 15 minute slot, comprising 12 minutes for the talk and 3 minutes for questions. Lightning talks are organized into sessions of 15 minutes, i.e. in groups of three. Each lightning talk is allocated a 5 minute slot, comprising 4 minutes for the talk and 1 minute for (brief) questions.
Speakers are kindly asked to stick to time to allow for interaction with the audience. Please prepare your talk to allow for questions using the above timings. If you do not wish for content from your talk (or specific slides therein) to be shared electronically or on social media, please use the PalAss social media symbols.
Posters
Posters should be prepared in A0 portrait format. Delegates can watch the YouTube videos prepared for last year’s meeting to learn more about poster preparation and judging (see the Association's YouTube channel).
If you do not wish for content from your poster to be shared electronically or on social media, please use the PalAss social media symbols.
