We welcome papers investigating the impacts of our changing world on foraminifera. We seek contributions ranging from foraminiferal biology, evolutionary and population dynamics to molecular works on single-cell genomics and environmental genomics. We also invite papers discussing the impacts of our changing world on forams geochemical and biomineralisation responses to multi-stressor events and biogeographical perturbation. We encourage papers incorporating all aspects of applied micropaleontology, for biomonitoring and industry. The symposium will also celebrate the 50th year anniversary of ocean drilling (IODP), and the history of foraminiferal research featuring the role of micropalaeontological schools with two dedicated sessions. FORAMS 2018 will also host the TMS Spring Foram & Nanno Group Meeting on Friday, 22 June 2018. FORAMS 2018 specialist workshops will follow the congress and will be hosted at the nearby coastal town of St Andrews.
