Abstract

A brachiopod fauna from the Mozduran Formation of the Kopet-Dagh Basin in north-east Iran near the border with Turkmenistan, is described. It is of Late Jurassic age and shows affinities with European forms, especially those of 'Boreal' type from Russia. There are no 'Tethyan' or 'Ethiopian' forms present.
