Briggs The new phyllocarid genus Perspicaris is proposed to include the type, Canadaspis dictynna Simonetta and Delle Cave, 1975, and P. recondita sp. nov., from the Middle Cambrian Burgess Shale of British Columbia. The two species are reconstructed in detail apart from the poorly preserved thoracic appendages. Hymenocaris? parva Walcott, 1912, from the same locality, is tentatively assigned to the genus Tuzoia Walcott, 1912. The Palaeontological Association (Free Access)
