C. H. C. Brunton and C. Champion A silicified brachiopod fauna from North Staffordshire is described and thought to be early Visean. It includes the new taxa Lambdarina manifoldensis and Crurithyris nastus, and other species showing North American Mississippian affinities. The fauna may indicate a relatively shallow-water environment with a low rate of sedimentation. The Palaeontological Association (Free Access)
