Joan Watson, Helen L. Fisher and Nicola A. Hall The missing holotype of the conifer Brachyphyllun punctatum Michael originally described from the Wealden of Germany has been rediscovered. B. castatum Watson, Fisher and Hall from the English Wealden has proved to be synonymous with B. punctatum. Tarphyderma glabra Archangelsky and Taylor from the Lower Cretaceous of Argentina is probably also specifically identical. The Palaeontological Association (Free Access)
