David H. Evans and John C. W. Cope Previously known only from the Middle Ordovician of the Baltic, Pollicina corniculum (Eichwald) is reported here from the Middle Ordovician of Wales and the Welsh Borderland. A review of the taxonomic position of Pollicina in the light of this new material combined with the recent redescription of the Russian type material suggests that it is best placed in the order Cyrtonellida of the molluscan class Tergomya.
