Abstract

Quantoxocrinus ussheri gen. et sp. nov. is described from the upper part of the Ilfracombe Beds (Upper Givetian or Lower Frasnian) in the Quantock Hills, west Somerset, and the palaeoecological significance of its occurrence is discussed.
